Apostolic Salutations in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is with a strong sense of urgency in my spirit that I sound this clarion call for all of us, as individuals and as a corporate body to seek the Lord through strategic prayers and fasting. Usually in the month of September we fast for 40days, but I feel led to change the strategy from Mondays to Wednesdays every week from now till the end of the year to lift up prayers for families, churches, communities, loved ones, our nation and the nations of the world.
The stakes have never been higher and the signs are evident that a lot is happening and the enemy is seriously contending over families, the godly seed, churches, our testimony, our communities and our nation. Ephesians 6:12 makes it clear that we are not wrestling with flesh and blood but with principalities and powers. We are at war. Jesus said this kind goeth not out except by prayers and fastings. The times are running so fast. We are already in September and it looks like the years are turning into months and months into weeks and weeks into days.
We want to set aside MONDAYS TO WEDNESDAYS – 72 HOURS FAST – EVERY WEEK 6AM – 6PM, as every one’s grace will allow them for this time of prayer and fasting. We want to leave no stone unturned. We cannot take any chances to allow the forces of evil and the wicked to carry out their plans and agenda. Let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end and let God arise and let His enemies be scattered. I believe that our year will end on a good note and God will give us an upper hand. I believe that no surprises and evil attacks will prevail. Through prayer, we will override the determinations of the wicked.
I look forward to your full cooperation and participation as we engage covenant mercies together through prayers, fasting, supplications and intercessions that will provoke heaven to turn things around.
I believe that there shall be a performance of everything the Lord has spoken and promised us. God will strengthen us, comfort us and bless us on every side.
